Whole-Home Re-Pipes

When patching one leak after another stops making sense, a full re-pipe future-proofs your home's supply system in a few days.

Overview

Whole-Home Re-Pipes

Homes built with galvanized steel or polybutylene — and even some aging copper — reach a point where isolated repairs are just delaying the inevitable. Repeated pinhole leaks, discolored water, and pressure drops are the system telling you it's time.

A Colvex re-pipe replaces your supply lines end to end with modern PEX or copper. We protect your floors and walls, minimize drywall openings, and restore the work areas — then pressure-test the whole system before we call it done.

Upfront flat-rate pricing: you approve the price before we start — always. No hourly surprises, no pressure.

FAQ

Re-pipe questions, answered

How long does a whole-home re-pipe take?

Most DFW single-family re-pipes using PEX take one to three working days depending on home size and routing, plus drywall patching. Water is typically off only for short, scheduled windows — not the whole project.

Will you have to open all my walls?

No. We map access points in advance and route through attic and wall cavities where practical, opening only what the work requires and coordinating the patches afterward.

PEX or copper?

PEX-A is more freeze-forgiving, faster to install, and typically lower cost; copper is time-proven and some homeowners prefer it. We quote what fits your home and explain both.

How do I know the new system is sound before you close up?

Every Colvex re-pipe is pressure-tested with the results documented before walls are closed — and the work is backed by our 1-year workmanship guarantee.
